When my mum married Graham all those years ago, Ann (and David) welcomed us into the family as if we were one of her own. After the wedding, Ann wrote Ryan and I a letter letting us know that we would always be welcome and part of the family. She treated us like her granchildren and we thought of her as a grandmother. We loved her as such.

She loved our children and our children loved her, in fact an Easter present to one of our daughters is now a long cherished companion.

Rest in peace Ann, we will always care for you and love you. We will miss your kindness and generous spirit.
